Hiking in the Brown Bear Kingdom

Join us on a unique hike in the heart of Härjedalen - in the landscape where the brown bear is not only a part of nature, but also its symbol. We head out into the surrounding area, where bears, moose, golden eagles and wolverines leave tracks in the terrain and if we are lucky we will catch a glimpse of one of them. Together with our guide Caroline Nyiri we hike in pathless landscape - straight into the bear's world. During the tour you will learn more about the brown bear's life, behavior and importance for the ecosystem, while gaining insight into the lives of other wild animals in this pristine mountain area. At a quiet mountain lake or slope, we camp for lunch, where we offer local flavors with game and cook coffee over an open fire. After a rest, we continue the hike before returning to civilization with new knowledge, experiences and perhaps the feeling of having been close to something really wild.
